Carroll County Historical Society
Summer Picnic in the Curtis Garden
July 1, 2010 at 6:00 p.m.
CCHS Curtis Heritage Garden
Covered Dish
Come join us this year as the the Carroll County Historical Society holds its annual summer covered dish picnic in the Curtis Heritage Garden behind our headquarters, the Curtis-Marlow-Perry House on West Avenue. We will have tables and chairs set up and the gardens should be in full bloom at this time. We will also have the house and archives open for tours. The Curtis Heritage Garden was the dream of Eleanor Hoomes and has been planted and maintained by the Conservation Department of Carrollton Civic Woman's Club, Master Gardeners, various other community groups. All the plants in this garden are native or heritage plants. Come join us us and enjoy an evening in the garden.
Anyone interested in local history
is invited to join us
