CCHS is Now on the World Wide Web

The CCHS has now created a new website about everything historic in Carroll County. It is more than just a site about the CCHS, it includes historical information, news and and  photographs on what we hope makes Carroll County so great. You can now visit our society and its headquarters, get involved in efforts to help restore the Historic Carrollton Depot, or take a photographic tour of our many towns and historic sites.

New Poaches for an Old Home

During the Summer of 2207 our Society Headquarter, Curtis-Marlow-Perry House  had to have some major repairs done to the exterior woodwork of the house. Both the front and back porches have been totally replaced and some of the clapboard was replaced.

2008 Historic Gardens Tour

The Curtis Heritage Gardens located behind our headquarters has looked really great this year and has been in full bloom even though most of Georgia has had drought and watering  restrictions in place. In June of 2008, the Garden Clubs of Georgia will be coming to Carrollton for a tour historic gardens including our own Curtis Gardens.
